About This Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Services, the Site/Education Director oversees the facility and directs the planning, organization, and implementation of educational services for children. This includes coordinating all aspects of the classroom design, curriculum implementation, supervision, and education program monitoring. These services contribute to increased social, cognitive, and physical competence in children and the recognition and enhancement of parents as the primary educators of their children.
Required:
New York State certification as a School Building Leader/School District Leader or School Administrator/Supervisor is required.
NYS-certified teacher with at least 5 years of experience teaching at the early childhood level is preferred.
Baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education or early childhood special education.
