Medical Laboratory Tech I at Upson Regional Medical Center – Thomaston, Georgia

Perform laboratory testing in two sections of the lab as a generalist on various body fluids, proficiency samples, correlation samples, may float to the floor to draw ordered labs from patients of all ages, neonates to elderly.

Requirements: Associates Degree from an accredited university, Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), AMT (American Medical Technologists) or AAB (American Associations of Bioanalysis) or equivalent.
