Personal Banker Supervisor - Wellington, Florida at FIRST BANK – Trenton, New Jersey

Position Summary:

The Personal Banker Supervisor provides exceptional sales and service to existing and prospective customers. Assists in creating and fostering a cohesive team and promoting a positive work environment. Demonstrate sound judgement and accountability with operational standards. They will provide leadership, conflict resolution, process improvement and communication to the Personal Bankers. In the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager, will be responsible for overall branch management including but not limited to operations, sales management and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Promotes bank products, refer or resolve customer inquiries concerning accounts or other banking services in a positive professional and efficient manner.
2. Meet sales referrals and cross-selling goals; knows the features and benefits of all products and services to satisfy the needs of the customers.
3. Participates in both internal and external sales activities including community and networking events
4. Assures quality of customer service and adherence to bank standards.
5. Establishes customer identity according to established guidelines and adheres to all other compliance procedures.
6. Assists with supervision, coaching and development of Personal Bankers.
7. Open new accounts.
8. Balance teller drawer daily
9. Handling daily branch proofs, including the ATM and Vault.
10. Performing Audits
11. Participate in the daily branch opening and closing
12. Decision overdraft report in absence of Manager or Assistant Manager.
13. Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank by adhering to all policies and procedures.
14. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred
• High school diploma/GED
• Two or more years of related experience in Financial Services industry
• Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
• Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
• Effective selling and referral skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
