About This Position
Position: Lab Technician - Oral Surgery/DentalLocation: Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (COMS) | Freehold, NJ (with travel to other locations as required)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Dental 3D Printing Lab Technician to support our oral surgery team by operating and managing SprintRay 3D printing systems and related digital workflows. This role is key in producing accurate, same‑day surgical guides, models, splints, and other printed devices that directly support high-quality patient care.The ideal candidate is tech‑savvy, quality‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot SprintRay 3D printers, curing units, and ancillary equipmentPrepare, manage, and print digital case files for surgical guides, models, and other devicesPerform post‑processing tasks including washing, curing, trimming, and finishing printed partsUtilize CAD/CAM and digital design tools (e.g., SprintRay Cloud Design, RayWare, Exocad/3Shape if applicable)Interpret digital prescriptions and collaborate closely with surgeons and clinical staffMonitor materials, maintain resin inventory, and perform routine calibration and equipment upkeepEnsure high-quality, accurate, and timely output for clinical useSupport digital scanning and file management workflowsFollow all safety, sterilization, and quality-control protocols within the lab environmentQualificationsExperience with 3D printing or dental laboratory technology preferred (SprintRay experience a plus)Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new softwareMechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment and toolsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to precisionGood manual dexterity for finishing and adjusting printed componentsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a clinical settingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesFlexible schedule availabilityBenefits & PerksCore Benefits & WellnessMedical (including Virtual Care), Dental, and Vision CoverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Uniforms/Scrubs providedFinancial Well‑BeingCompetitive pay, bonus potential, and annual merit reviews401(k) plan with company matchHealth Savings Account (HSA) with HDHP health plansLife InsuranceBasic and Supplemental Life InsuranceSpouse and Child Life Insurance optionsTime Off, Disability & LeavePaid Time Off and sick time6 annual paid holidays2 weeks paid parental leaveLong‑ and Short‑Term Disability plans
