Pediatrician Physician at Advocare LLC – Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Advocare Merchantville Pediatrics has been in practice for over 40 years and is located in Cherry Hill, NJ. We are dedicated to caring for the whole child from infancy through college. We take pride in our ability to provide high quality, comprehensive well and sick care to all patients.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time pediatrician to join our team. The position consists of 4 days a week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks. Part-time hours are also negotiable. We do not require inpatient or nursery rounds. We have a nurse triage service after hours to provide pediatric triage. We are offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

• Perform physical examinations and diagnose/treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions
• Track and assess patient growth and monitor physical, emotional, and social development
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Utilize the EMR system efficiently to review, collect, and document patient information
• Conduct well visits, administer routine vaccinations, and provide age-appropriate guidance
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with compliance standards

Physician Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
• Board certification or eligibility in [specialty, e.g., Pediatrics, Family Medicine]
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented, patient-focused setting

Requirements:

• Call schedule to 1 in 5 weeknights and 1 in every 5 weekends
• Board certified or board eligible
• Current or pending New Jersey medical license, CDS, and DEA required
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
• Experience with EMR systems required
• Billing and coding knowledge preferred
