Meat Cutter (Part-Time) at Lynn's Inc. & Affiliates – Glenrock, Wyoming

The Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing, cutting, packaging, and merchandising meat products in accordance with Lynn’s Inc. & Affiliates quality and merchandising standards. This role supports daily meat department operations by ensuring product freshness, food safety compliance, and an attractive presentation for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products to company quality standards
• Prepare fresh ground meat daily and maintain required grinding logs
• Wrap, label, price, and stock products in display cases
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked meat cases and backroom areas
• Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating product, and monitoring freshness
• Support department merchandising, including promotional and seasonal displays
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and assist with product selection or special orders
• Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning equipment, tools, and work areas
• Follow all company policies, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by department or store leadership

• Previous meat cutting or meat department experience preferred
• Knowledge of meat handling, cutting techniques, and food safety practices preferred
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and product quality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting/moving up to approximately 50 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
