Quality Control Technician at Flexcraft – NEPTUNE CITY, New Jersey

Every other weekend is a 4‑day weekend (2‑3‑2 schedule)!

Seeking a Quality Control Technician with 1 - 2 years of manufacturing experience for a full‑time 12‑hour night shift role. This position ensures product quality through inspections, measurements, testing, and documentation. Shift: 12‑Hour Nights (2‑3‑2 Rotating Schedule)

This position follows a repeating 2‑3‑2 pattern:

Week 1: Work 2 days, off 3 days, work 2 days • Week 2: Off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days. This rotation provides full‑time hours while working fewer total days and results in a 4‑day weekend every other week!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in‑process and final inspections on parts, components, and production
• Use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Conduct destructive and nondestructive testing
• Apply basic SPC techniques to monitor process performance
• Review batch records, logs, forms, and documentation for accuracy
• Train operators on inspection techniques and Good Documentation Practices
• Maintain a safe and compliant work area

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow documentation standards and Good Documentation Practices
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Experience with measurement tools preferred (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Work Environment

• Hands‑on manufacturing environment
• Requires standing, walking, repetitive tasks, and use of inspection tools
• Overnight shift with rotating schedule
