What will you be doing?
This role serves as a strategic and operational technology leader responsible for driving the vision, architecture, and execution of advanced manufacturing (MES) technologies across Hyundai/Kia. The principal will lead initiatives spanning hybrid cloud infrastructure, SAP platforms, and custom application development to enable scalable, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing operations.
Technology Strategy & Road Mapping: Define and lead the strategic direction for manufacturing technologies, aligning hybrid cloud, SAP, and application development initiatives with enterprise goals and operational excellence.
Customer Engagement: Act as a strategic partner to internal and external customers, understanding their operational challenges and translating them into technology solutions that drive value, efficiency, and innovation.
Platform Leadership: Oversee the integration, management, and optimization of all SAP modules and related systems. Support core manufacturing processes, ensuring reliability, scalability, and business alignment.
Program Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of major technology initiatives, ensuring on-time execution, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.
Operational Excellence: Guide technical teams with clear direction, oversight, and accountability to promote consistent performance and collaboration across initiatives.
Collaboration & Influence: Partner with CA, HQ, global HQ, business units, and IT teams to drive innovation, share best practices, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Leadership & Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of technologists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Security & Risk Alignment: Partner with CA HQ and Global HQ security teams to ensure manufacturing platforms and operations adhere to enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices while enabling secure, reliable business execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with over 10 years of work-related experience including 7+ years in management and extensive SAP consulting and project management expertise.
- 5+ years leading and developing technical teams supporting manufacturing operations by setting clear direction, partnering closely with business stakeholders, and driving cross functional execution to improve reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP modules, with preferred knowledge in supply chain, finance, and cost management within manufacturing environments.
- Possess a strong foundation in leading ERP initiatives and delivering strategic business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified SAP module consultant
- MES System Experience with Siemens or Dassault Systems
- Cyber security certifications: CISSP or Security +
Base Salary Range: $181,240 - $259,160
