Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Mission:
As a CNA on our team, you are the heartbeat of patient care. You aren't just checking boxes; you’re the primary advocate for our patients, ensuring they feel supported, dignified, and expertly cared for every single day.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the Eyes and Ears: You’ll work side-by-side with Nurses and Physicians, observing patient changes and reporting them in real-time to ensure the best clinical outcomes.
  • Provide Hands-on Care: From mastering clinical procedures to assisting with daily activities (ADLs) and vitals, you’ll provide the high-quality, age-specific care our patients deserve.
  • Collaborate & Connect: You’ll be a vital part of a multi-disciplinary team, documenting patient journeys with accuracy and communicating needs with clarity.
  • Make an Impact: Under the guidance of our Nurse Managers, you’ll help create a healing environment through professional skill and genuine human connection.

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88
Qualifications
Education:
  • Prefer a high school diploma or GED.
Experience:
  • Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience.
Specialized Training:
  • Must successfully complete approved Valleywise Health computer classes.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bilingual is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
  • Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
