As a Financial Analyst, you will support capital markets activities including mortgage-backed securities transactions, mortgage revenue bonds, and investment portfolio analysis. This position works closely with internal teams and external financial partners to support financial operations and ensure accurate reporting and compliance. In This Role, You Will:
- Support capital markets transactions including mortgage-backed securities, mortgage revenue bonds, securities investments, balance sheet management, and coordination of TBA transaction processing and settlements with Accounting
- Analyze and extract data from internal systems to develop financial reports, charts, and portfolio insights
- Coordinate with external partners including investment banks, trustees, commercial banks, rating agencies, and legal counsel
- Assist with compliance reporting and annual tax compliance documentation
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining organized electronic records and providing analytical support to the finance team
- Other job duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment
- Interest in learning and developing expertise in capital markets and financial transactions
