Key Responsibilities
Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a motivated and experienced Office Lead to oversee daily operations within our Mohs Dermatology practice. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic flow, supporting staff, and maintaining the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, dermatology or surgical office experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front and back office operations within the Mohs dermatology clinic
- Lead, train, and support clinical and administrative staff
- Ensure efficient patient flow from check-in through discharge
- Coordinate Mohs surgery schedules, procedures, and follow-ups
- Monitor and maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards
- Serve as a liaison between providers, staff, and leadership
- Assist with staffing schedules, timekeeping, and performance management
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement workflow improvements
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper use of EMR systems
- Support inventory management, ordering of supplies, and equipment maintenance
- Provide excellent patient service and resolve patient concerns professionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of healthcare supervisory or lead experience required
- Prior experience in dermatology, Mohs surgery, or surgical specialty strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical office workflows, EMR systems, and compliance standards
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team development abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality care
- Fast-paced dermatology and surgical setting
- Combination of administrative and clinical oversight duties
