Due to tremendous growth, RONDO is looking to add a Field Service Technician to the US-based team.

RONDO is a world-leading supplier of dough sheeting and shaping machinery solutions to the bakery industry for 70+ years; from small artisanal to large industrial. Headquartered in Switzerland, with additional factories in Italy and France, equipment is sold and serviced to North America customers through RONDO Inc. located in Moonachie, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Field Service, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical industrial equipment issues, repair and install all equipment sold by Rondo at customer’s site.Provide electrical and mechanical technical help via phone and e-mail. Help within the Parts Department.Travel when requested, via air travel and locally via auto. Approximately 50% local or overnight travel within the USA.*Company van is provided.

Key knowledge / experience needed:

A good understanding of industrial type equipmentA good understanding of electrical and electrical controlsA good understanding of electrical schematicsA good understanding of mechanical function and repairField service experienceGood customer and reporting skillsSpeaks Spanish(Miami Area preferred)

Functions and Tasks:

Electrical troubleshoot and repair all equipment sold by RONDOMechanicals troubleshoot and repair all equipment sold by RONDOTo provide all technical service and support in a timely manner and in accordance with established company protocols.Sell Preventive Maintenance ContractsSell Recommended Spare PartsInstall all equipment sold by RONDOCommission / Demo all RONDO equipmentProper paperwork must be filled out and completed prior to leaving the jobsite.Technical phone and e-mail supportParts processing when available
