NA: Nurse Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our Live Oak skilled nursing and rehabilitation is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide quality and compassionate care to our geriatric residents. Live Oak retirement community is located on 600 East Flournoy Lucas Road in Shreveport. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, bathing, feeding, dressing, linen changes, incontinence care, room organization, mobility assistance and providing emotional support to our residents. Certified nursing assistants work side by side with our Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses. The patient assignments are based on the physical and cognitive ability of the residents. The certified nursing assistant with experience is our preferred candidate, but a new graduate with an excellent work history and eager to go the extra mile will be considered. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort. All shifts are 8 hours, but the shift hours do vary.
