The Village—recognized as a Connecticut Top Workplace for six consecutive years—is seeking a compassionate and organized Client Service Coordinator to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for clients seeking behavioral health and family support services. With more than 200 years of commitment to strengthening families in Greater Hartford, we’re looking for dedicated team members who share our passion for community care.

What You’ll Do

As a Client Service Coordinator, you’ll support our integrated behavioral health teams and provide exceptional client service across two Hartford locations: 331 Wethersfield Ave and 1680 Albany Ave.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the initial in‑person and phone contact for clients and directing them to appropriate services
  • Managing client intake, scheduling, releases, and other service‑related documentation
  • Processing referrals, authorizations, and co‑payments efficiently and accurately
  • Providing administrative support across both sites while collaborating with a team of eight Client Service Coordinators in a fast‑paced environment
  • Participating in an onboarding and initial training period, with access to monthly training opportunities for continuous development
  • Using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for admissions and client information management
  • Coordinating vehicle reservations for staff and programs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming reception area for clients and families

Experience and SkillsWho We’re Looking For

We’re seeking detail oriented, dependable individuals who are passionate about client care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible rotating Monday–Friday shifts between 8am–5pm, 11am–7pm, or 12pm–9pm
  • Personal vehicle to commute between sites as needed
  • Experience in direct client support—or willingness to learn
  • Strong verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and moderate computer skills
  • Dependability and punctuality
Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Strong computer skills beyond the basic requirements
  • Experience working with EHR systems
  • Knowledge of referral sources in the Greater Hartford area
