Forestry Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forestry Project Manager to lead and oversee forestry projects that promote sustainable forest management and conservation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental stewardship while managing complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for sustainable forestry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Plan, coordinate, and execute forestry projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline objectives
  • - Conduct site assessments and develop project proposals, including environmental impact analyses
  • - Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental organizations, and local communities
  • - Manage project teams, including forestry technicians, contractors, and consultants
  • - Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and best practices
  • - Develop and implement sustainable forestry management plans and practices
  • - Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, and services necessary for project execution

Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
