About the Role:

Job Title: Director of Technology Implementation

Job Summary

Directs multiple or all of the following disciplines: Implementation of new technology, sales and marketing, client relationships, technical services, with strong focus on building and managing external client relationships. Manages a given scope of work and the direction, control, and utilization of a staff of professionals and support personnel. Recognizes customer problems and provides answers and/or solutions of a more technical nature. Requires strong technical knowledge of the company’s products. Develops and delivers customer technical presentations. Advises on training requirements for internal & external clients on product specific technology, science, tools and/or equipment. Ultimately responsible for meeting company strategic objectives within the assigned areas of responsibility. Provides input to technology and product development based on market intelligence from client base. Handles special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Geophysics, or educational equivalent. 12 years related experience with 6 years in a managerial position.

Responsibilities

    Drives successful rollout of new technology products and services to existing and potential customers, with focus on delivering company tactical priorities.Works closely with Operational personnel and customers to ensure fluids technology offering aligns with business and technology priorities, standards, and goals.Promotes, supports, and publishes technical papers and case histories, documenting company technical achievements.Acts as company primary focal point for formal business partnerships with other technology providers, as required.Manages external client relationships around technology engagement.Develops and delivers customer presentations.Provides feedback on areas of focus for future technology development.Increase knowledge sharing with external clients through Marketing.Increase knowledge sharing internally through mentoring and stewardship of regional Technical Service Engineers.Liaises with Product Line and Laboratory function to ensure Technology implementation is robustly supported with technical data and marketing documentation.Provides technical support to company projects worldwide.Interacts with Business Unit Leaders and Technical personnel to assess training, product, and fluid systems requirements.Provides technical support to opportunities for business expansion (i.e. New Country Entry).Raise Company profile through active engagement in Industry Forums, such as SPE, AADE, IADC.Updates Senior Management on a regular basis on Technology Highlights, opportunities, developments, etc.
