THE ROLE

The Summer Marketing & Sales Intern will support the Marketing & Sales team at Flyover in Vancouver during the peak summer season, with a strong focus on on-the-ground engagement, concierge relationships, and partnership activation.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role designed to deliver real-time impact by driving awareness and converting opportunities into visitation. The role is centered around the “ground game” building strong relationships across Vancouver’s tourism network and positioning Flyover as a must-do experience for visitors.

Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, as well as on-site operations, the Marketing & Sales Intern will engage directly with hotel concierge teams, front-line tourism staff, and local partners. They will support partnership development, in-market activations, and guest experience initiatives that influence decision-making at key moments in the visitor journey.

This role is ideal for a confident, outgoing and commercially minded individual who thrives in a people-facing environment, enjoys being out in market, and is motivated by delivering tangible results through relationships and engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Concierge & Partnership Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with hotel concierge teams, front desk staff, and tourism partners
  • Conduct regular in-market visits to strengthen awareness and drive referrals
  • Support the development and activation of local partnerships and affiliate relationships
  • Identify opportunities to grow visitation through partner networks

Ground Game & Brand Representation

  • Act as a Flyover brand ambassador across Vancouver’s tourism ecosystem
  • Support on-site and in-market activations, events, and promotions
  • Assist with hosting media, influencers, travel agents, and partners
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality representation of the Flyover experience

Marketing & Content Support

  • Capture photo and video content to support social media and campaigns when required
  • Identify content opportunities based on real-time guest and partner interactions
  • Support the execution of seasonal campaigns and promotions on ground game partner sites
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral and sales tools

Sales Support & Insights

  • Support B2B initiatives including hotels, tour operators, and group segments
  • Track engagement and partnership activity
  • Assist in compiling performance reports and insights
  • Contribute ideas to improve conversion and partner performance

General Support

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams
  • Support project coordination and administrative tasks
  • Assist with additional initiatives during peak season

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Tourism, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging in person
  • Outgoing, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
  • Interest in tourism, partnerships, events, or sales
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social media platforms; content creation skills are an asset

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
