Home Cleaning Supervisor
We are seeking a highly organized, passionate, and enthusiastic bilingual individual to join our expanding team as a Home Cleaning Supervisor. This pivotal role reports to the manager and is essential for maintaining our high service standards and ensuring efficient daily operations. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, an effective communicator, and adept at multi-tasking.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Coaching and Mentoring: Motivate, coach, and train team members
- Onboarding Support: Assist with in-person interviews and the staff onboarding process.
- Performance Management: Help track and manage employee performance scores and feedback.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Staff Engagement: Support the preparation and execution of monthly staff meetings.
2. Operational & Quality Oversight
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of cleaned residential and commercial areas to ensure all established quality standards are met.
- Scheduling: Help create daily, weekly, or monthly staff schedules and efficiently manage replacements for call-outs.
- Efficiency Monitoring: Maintain staff efficiency by closely monitoring and managing allotted task times..
- System Management: Be able to learn and proficiently use the company's business system.
- Field Support: Step in to perform cleaning duties when operational needs require it.
- Administrative Duties: Fulfill various office responsibilities as assigned.
3. Inventory & Equipment Management
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Supply Readiness: Ensure all staff are fully equipped with the necessary materials and operational equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the proper working order of all cleaning equipment.
4. Communication & Client Relations
- Primary Contact: Act as the primary point of contact, delivering excellent customer service to both staff and clients.
- Issue Resolution: Efficiently address and resolve customer complaints regarding service quality.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Experience: Proven supervisory or cleaning experience, preferably within the commercial or residential cleaning sector.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strong team management and effective communication abilities.
- Detail Orientation: Possess a high standard for organizational skills and cleanliness.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals, operational equipment, and sanitation regulations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift for prolonged periods during cleaning and inspection duties.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to effectively handle client-related issues and manage staff shortages.
