Mercy Flights is seeking a customer-focused and highly organized Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Dispatcher to support our growing MIH program. In this role, you will serve as the communication hub for patients, field providers, hospitals, crisis teams, and community partners while coordinating MIH resources and ensuring timely, efficient service delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Receive referrals and coordinate patient access to MIH services
  • Conduct structured triage and determine appropriate care pathways
  • Dispatch and monitor MIH units in real time
  • Coordinate with EMS, healthcare providers, and community partners
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operational records
  • Support patient-centered care through compassionate, professional communication

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of experience in a high-volume customer service, call center, healthcare coordination, or related environment
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience in dispatch, EMS, healthcare, public safety communications, or Mobile Integrated Healthcare is preferred

Certifications

  • Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • DPSST Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher required within 12 months of hire
  • CPR and First Aid certification required within 6 months of hire
