SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Combat Systems Test and Integration Engineer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORPhas immediate openings for recently separated Navy submarine technicians. Candidates will verify system design and conduct integration and testactivities for the BYG-1 combat control system. These positions arelocated on-stie in Middletown RI or Manassas VA. Job Responsibilities Include:
- Working hands-on with the BYG-1 combat system in lab environments to verify system requirements through integration and test activities.
- Developing test plans and test procedures to verify system requirements.
- Writing clear and concise problem reports detailing system anomaly observations.
- Identifying, investigating, and analyzing system failures to determine root-causes.
- Providing lab support to troubleshoot configuration and system issues, identifying temporary workarounds and long-term solutions.
- Working in an agile development environment with members of development and program management teams.
Qualifications:
Education: Completionof Naval Advanced "C" School in the technical field ofexperience. Degree in an engineering, computer science or math is a plus.
Experience: Qualifiedcandidates will have technician experience onboard US Navy submarines orextensive hands-on experience with the submarine combat control system. Experience with Confluence and Jira is a plus.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
