An Event Cleaner at Velociti Services plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of event spaces before, during, and after events. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Event Cleaners must be detail-oriented and a dependable individual to join the team in event settings.

Schedules are published to Event Cleaners to pick up shifts for upcoming events (basketball game, concert, etc.).

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare event spaces by setting up cleaning stations with necessary supplies.
• Perform pre-event cleaning, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, floors are swept or vacuumed, and restrooms are stocked.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness during events, including promptly addressing spills, trash removal, and restocking restroom supplies.
• Assist with any cleaning-related needs that may arise during events.
• Perform thorough post-event cleaning, including clearing trash, cleaning surfaces, and restoring the venue to its original condition.
• Break down cleaning stations and return equipment and supplies to storage.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning-related emergencies, such as spills or accidents, to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Empty and replace trash liners in bins throughout the event space.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, restocking soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Monitor restroom cleanliness and address issues promptly.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or event cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
