Patient Access Services Coordinator Position Summary

This position assists in with data collection, auditing and analysis within Patient Access Services and the Finance Division; coordinates the Inpatient admission process; interacts in a professional and customer-focused manner with patients, families and visitors.

Patient Access Services Coordinator Position Requirements

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Advanced courses in computers, office, or statistics.

Experience

  • At least two years experience as a registrar, scheduler, biller, collector or similar position, plus one- to two-years business office and/or training experience.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Computer experience and keyboarding (typing) required.

Patient Access Services Coordinator Work Schedule

  • Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday, may work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Patient Access Services Coordinator Benefits

  • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members wor (king at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $18.58 - $27.87 Commensurate with experience
