As a Medical Assistant at Froedtert South, you'll play an important role in creating a positive patient experience and supporting providers in delivering exceptional care.

You'll work directly with patients, prepare them for their appointments, assist providers with clinical care, provide education, and help keep the clinic running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and room patients while collecting vital signs and other required information.
• Prepare exam rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient visits and procedures.
• Prepare patients and charts for scheduled appointments.
• Assist providers with patient care, treatments, and procedures as directed.
• Administer medications safely and accurately as ordered and according to established procedures.
• Document patient care and information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and tests and provide patients with necessary instructions.
• Provide patients with educational materials, care instructions, and follow-up information.
• Answer patient questions and communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and coworkers.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and help support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant program or six months of experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

Pay & Benefits

$19.50-$29.75 | Differential available for being certified or registered.

(Pay is based on experience.)
