Job Description
SUMMARY
Performs receiving, inspection, handling & inventory procedures at various areas as directed by management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Perform daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, verification, and system entry of materials.
2. Match shipments to purchase orders, packing slips, and specifications; resolve discrepancies promptly.
3. Maintain efficient process flow from dock to storage, preventing delays and bottlenecks.
4. Ensure precise material identification, labeling, and traceability, especially for custom components.
5. Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality to prioritize incoming materials.
6. Oversee proper handling, storage, and inventory accuracy.
7. Investigate receiving issues (damage, shortages, errors) and implement corrective actions.
8. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and material handling processes.
9. Must have a valid Drivers License and insurable for PBI vehicle operations.
10. Strong team player.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisor responsibilities with this position.
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Receiving experience not required, but preferred.
Experience of 3-5 years in a data entry/material handling field is highly encouraged.
Knowledge of various computer programs preferred, including but not limited to Netsuite, Adobe, CAD, Excel and Word
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple Instructions, short correspondence and memos in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to calculate costing using various formulas.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weights and measurements.
