This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: “Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club”, set outside of “Fajardo, Puerto Rico”.
“Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club” is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Operations Department.
The Marketing Manager supports brand and marketing execution for Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club on-site in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. This role brings strategy to life —delivering marketing collateral materials, digital content on the website, lead generation and driving communications for members through thoughtful campaigns and consistent brand touchpoints. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this position collaborates with corporate marketing, sales, and operations and to ensure every communication and interaction reflects the Moncayo voice and visual identity.
This role requires expertise in marketing strategy, well-developed cross-departmental project management and sales skills, excellent writing and communication skills, attention to detail, exemplary organizational skills, discipline and creativity, and a desire to be part of a fast moving, entrepreneurial team. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, balance a variety of roles within the organization, and be able to establish and foster effective working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
• Support execution of Moncayo's brand strategy across all internal and external marketing materials
• Execute on visual and written brand standards to ensure consistency in voice, tone, and identity across campaigns
• Oversee and manage centralized property marketing. Liaison with external partner to create and maintain standardized marketing templates for property collateral, communications, email, event planning, and overall presentation.
• Manage social media partner once partner has been onboarded
• Assist with marketing performance tracking and reporting across key channels, including social media accounts and email campaigns.
• Support KPI analysis—follower growth, post engagement, review response rates, event participation, email open/click rates—to help identify what’s working and guide future content strategy and campaign planning.
• Support website and marketing portal, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and executed in line with brand standards
• Support writing and communication projects
• Assist with market research, insights, and input into strategic planning
• Assist in the development of the marketing plan and corresponding budget to align and support sales initiatives
• Assist with swag management including ordering and inventory
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive engagement and strategy implementation in current and new markets
• Manage CMS and listing inventory on property website
• Coordinate photography and videography for the property
• Onsite support and coordination of corporate-led events
• Oversee inventory and assets for digital sales tools and resources
• Manage CRM input and reporting dashboards, analyze data and provide reporting to support overall sales direction and new marketing initiatives
• Oversee new product launch material development and design
• Evaluate marketing needs as property transitions through lifecycles
• Additional marketing duties as needed
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business and marketing preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years in marketing, representing high-end luxury properties or relevant industry. Experience partnering and/or working with a Sales teams a plus
• Knowledge of construction, architecture and design a plus
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as Apple products and services
• Track record of producing and presentation of marketing assets in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects, and desire to work in fast-paced environment.
