Job Summary
The Embedded Finance Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the implementation, launch, and operational execution of the bank’s embedded finance initiatives. This role supports the buildout of embedded finance infrastructure, fintech partner onboarding, payment rail enablement, and operational readiness across the program.
This position reports to the Managing Director, Embedded Finance & Partnerships and serves as the central program lead for execution, cross functional coordination, and implementation delivery. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure embedded finance initiatives are delivered on time, operationally sound, and aligned with bank standards.
Requirements:Responsibilities and Duties
Program Execution & Implementation
- Manage implementation of embedded finance infrastructure including FIS Modern Banking Platform (MBP) and Money Movement Hub (MMH)
- Coordinate integration efforts with Socure, Sardine, and other embedded finance technology partners
- Maintain project plans, milestones, and implementation timelines
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation plans
Fintech Partner Launch Management
- Support fintech partner onboarding and launch readiness activities
- Coordinate internal and partner deliverables during implementation
- Manage launch checklists, testing schedules, and operational readiness
- Support initial production launches and post launch stabilization
Operational Framework Development
- Document end to end embedded finance workflows and operational procedures
- Create implementation playbooks and process documentatio
- Build escalation paths and issue management procedures
- Support operational readiness for new products and payment capabilities
Payment Operations Readiness
- Support readiness and operational setup for ACH, RTP, FedNow, and future payment capabilities
- Coordinate payment flow testing and operational validation
- Document payment operations procedures and exception handling
- Support future readiness initiatives including push to card
Cross Functional Coordination
- Coordinate across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, Legal, Technology, and Finance
- Facilitate implementation meetings and working sessions
- Track action items and stakeholder deliverables
- Provide regular status updates to leadership
Pilot Program Support
- Support execution of pilot programs including fintech and digital asset initiatives
- Coordinate operational setup, controls, testing, and launch readiness
- Document lessons learned and process improvements
Other
- Ensures BSA compliance by reading and being familiar with the BSA/AML program/policy; following all BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures; and completing all BSA/AML/OFAC related online courses.
- All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- 7+ years in banking, fintech, payments, embedded finance or or program management.
- Experience managing technology implementations or partner onboarding
- Strong expertise in ACH, RTP, FedNow, and payment systems
- Experience with third-party risk management and fintech oversight
- Proven ability to design and implement governance frameworks and programs
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong process documentation and operational workflow design skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
