Project: Antelope Wells, New Mexico – Secondary Border Wall Project

Location: Remote project site near Antelope Wells, NM
Durus Industrial is hiring experienced concrete and reinforcing steel installers to support the Antelope Wells Secondary Border Wall Project in New Mexico.
This scope includes installation of reinforcing steel and associated support work for secondary wall foundations. Work will be performed in a remote border construction environment and will require a strong commitment to safety, production, quality, and schedule.
Primary Work Scope- Install reinforcing steel for secondary wall foundations
- Assist with trench preparation, mud mat support, and foundation prep
- Install and support embedded items and alignment components
- Assist with communications conduit coordination within the foundation section
- Support concrete placement and finishing activities
- Assist with temporary support breakdown after panel installation
- Support weld-out preparation and alignment clip installation as required
- Read and follow project drawings, details, and field direction
- Experience tying reinforcing steel on civil, structural, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to work safely in and around open trenches, excavation areas, equipment, and active concrete operations
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow layout direction
- Familiarity with rebar spacing, clear cover, lap requirements, and embed coordination
- Border wall, heavy civil, industrial, mining, or remote project experience preferred
- Remote project site near Antelope Wells, New Mexico
- Outdoor work in heat, dust, wind, and uneven terrain
- Extended shifts and overtime expected
- Per diem may apply based on project assignment
- Strict PPE, safety, and site access requirements
Candidates must be dependable, production-minded, and able to work as part of a coordinated crew. This project requires workers who can stay focused, follow direction, maintain quality, and work safely around excavation, concrete, equipment, panels, and reinforcing steel operations.
Compensation- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
