Teller Supervisor (Summerville)

Candidates must be available Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, and Fridays 8 am - 6 pm. Some Saturdays 9 am-12 pm may be required.

What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and train a team of tellers to ensure efficient and accurate cash handling and exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash balancing, and vault management.
- Monitor teller performance, provide feedback, and address any performance or behavior issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the branch manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve branch goals and targets.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures to assist customers with their inquiries and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
- Verify cash when overages/shortages occur, assist tellers when balancing problems occur.
- May be responsible for branch openings/closings.
- Reasonable flexibility around scheduled work hours.
What You’ll Bring:
- Five years of Teller experience; or two years of work experience comprised of one year of Teller experience combined with retail/sales, customer service experience and/or college/vocational schooling.
- Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in financial transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent
