Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align business objectives with employees and leadership across designated business units. This role serves as a strategic partner to management, delivering value-driven HR support while fostering a positive and productive employee experience.
The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong relationships with leadership and key stakeholders; effectively communicate HR initiatives
- Partner with HR teams to analyze trends and metrics, developing impactful solutions, programs, and policies
- Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough and objective investigations
- Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Advise leaders on workforce planning, restructuring, and succession planning
- Promote a positive work environment that enhances engagement, morale, and retention
- Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, regulations, and policies
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience handling complex employee relations matters
- Working knowledge of core HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and employment law
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR, or equivalent)

Additional Information:
- This is an on-site position based in East Haven, CT
- This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will serve as a coach and mentor within the HR team
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
- Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds
