About The Role

We’re looking for a backend engineer who is excited to build and operate scalable systems end-to-end. This role blends backend development with infrastructure and DevOps ownership, giving you full lifecycle responsibility for the services you build—from design to production. You’ll work on high-performance distributed systems while also shaping the tooling, infrastructure, and processes that enable reliable and fast delivery.

What You'll Do

DevOps:

• Design and build scalable backend systems and distributed services powering our core platform.
• Own services end-to-end, including development, deployment, monitoring, and reliability in production.
• Architect and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and repeatable releases.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
• Implement strong observability practices (metrics, logging, tracing) to ensure system health.
• Drive improvements in system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Debug production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship high-quality features quickly.
• Contribute to internal tooling and developer experience to improve engineering velocity.

Backend:

• Design and Implement Backend Logic:
• Create robust and scalable services.
• Ensure service security and scalability.
• Maintain our technology stack, including Golang, Python, Node, AWS infrastructure, Neo4j and more.
• Describe the specific responsibilities and job functions of the role.

• Strong backend engineering experience (Python, Go, Java, or similar).
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloudformation, Pulumi, etc.).
• Understanding of monitoring, alerting, and production operations.
• Comfortable owning systems in production and troubleshooting live issues.

• Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling.
• Familiarity with DevOps / SRE best practices in high-growth environments.
• Experience with security, compliance, and cloud best practices.
• Track record of improving system scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
