Advanced Roofing is looking for a hands-on and motivated Superintendent to join our Service team in our Fort Myers Office. With the opportunity to drive the development and productivity of the business, this role is perfect for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTYPICAL DUTIES
- Enforce branch objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy
- Monitor quality of work performed by the assigned reports.
- Manage the assigned customer relationships and drive issue resolution.
- Responsible for technician’s safety performance and program compliance.
- Ability to scope out, estimate, write quotes and proposals for repairs, replacements and maintenance.
- Meet with direct report technicians daily to go over each day’s work and ensure they are prepared properly.
- Respond to onsite incidents and emergencies per company procedures.
- On call during weekends with a rotating shift divided among other lead personnel.
- Assist and help diagnose difficult technical issues.
- Work with Technicians on technical Issues to create effective development plans and then track training performance
- Conduct toolbox talks with technicians monthly.
- Provide material takeoffs and job site inspections as directed and/or approved.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required by the branch's operating needs or as directed by Service Manager.

- Able to provide technical support to technicians as needed
- Provide daily and/or weekly reports to HVAC Service Manager
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Value engineer job when possible.
- Hand off new installations, repairs and maintenance to Service Coordinator with all the proper information.
- Coordinate schedule of workers with Service Manager
- Compile material list.
- Monitor progress of job weekly.
PRODUCTION
- Set production goals
- Monitor quality through field inspections/customer complaints
- Monitor Service production to ensure budgets are met (or beat) weekly.
- Oversee that all final inspections are called in and pass.
MATERIAL / EQUIPMENT
- Monitor material orders and delivery/pick-up
- Conduct inventory audit/count as required
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries and cranes for large jobs
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Review time sheets when asked to do so and send needed corrections and approvals directly to the HVAC Service Manager for review and final approval.
SAFETY
- Monitor crews to adhere to Advanced Roofing, Inc. and OSHA safety policy.
Education
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent or extensive experience in the Commercial HVAC industry preferred
Experience
- Over 4 years in the HVAC industry with technical hands-on experience
Skills & Requirements
- Available 24/7 365 days for emergencies
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Any CAD or SketchUp experience is a plus.
- Highly responsive with a collaborative attitude.
- Must be able to carry an extension ladder and erect it safely.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- High level of energy, creativity and independent thinking.
- Successful background investigation.
- Successful pre-employment Drug Test.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
- Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
- Successful Background Check
- Full time onsite
