Location: Farmingdale, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time/On Site
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Thursday) / 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Friday)
Pay Rate: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 Annually

About the Role:
The Planning & Logistics Specialist will support the seamless coordination of production planning, inventory control, and outbound logistics within our manufacturing operations.
This role is critical in ensuring sales orders flow efficiently from receipt through shipment while maintaining compliance with FDA, cGMP, and food safety standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Track and expedite sales orders through the manufacturing cycle to ensure timely flow and evaluate margins to meet organizational targets.
• Review incoming sales orders in the planning tool, identify potential delays (raw materials, R&D, or QC issues), and maintain a delay log for leadership.
• Route, schedule, and confirm shipments with carriers and ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, and international standards.
• Print shipping labels, generate Bills of Lading, and maintain accurate shipment documentation including invoices and packing lists.
• Issue and release inventory from facilities and provide monthly reports of storage fees and outbound shipment logs.
• Serve as the primary contact for Sales/Client Success regarding shipment status and regular troubleshoot issues with cross-functional teams.
• Assist the Senior Manager with reporting, follow up with suppliers for raw materials, and support data accuracy on shared platforms.
• Demonstrate commitment to the organization through regular, on-site presence and the performance of other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team-oriented collaboration.
• Ability to adhere to 21 CFR 111 cGMP, FSSC 22000, and National Organic Program regulations.
