Job Overview

• Salary/Pay Rate: $82,000 - $87,000+ Commission Only (Sales bonus and commission structure).

• Location: Indianapolis, IN (Mix of Office, Remote, and On-site).

• Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Interior and site Demolition.

• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Proficiency in take-off and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam).

The Opportunity

You will serve as a foundational leader for a growing, privately owned business that is revolutionizing the demolition industry through artistic precision and technical accuracy. This role offers the unique autonomy to drive market dominance in the Indianapolis region while receiving the full tech and logistical support of an innovative leadership team. You will bridge the gap between complex project planning and field execution, ensuring every transition from destruction to construction is seamless for our elite clientele.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Analyze detailed project plans and conduct comprehensive site inspections to curate accurate cost estimates for selective interior demolition.

• Negotiate pricing with general contractors, architects, and subcontractors to secure competitive bids that maximize both safety and profit margins.

• Coordinate with field Foremen and laborers on-site to mentor team members and ensure job site safety meets Hippo Demos high standards.

• Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle, including drafting change orders, establishing budgets, and monitoring real-time cost control measures.

• Generate high-quality leads and secure under-contract work to meet aggressive growth targets, reaching a goal of $1 million in business by your second year.

• Execute final job analysis reports that detail profit, expenses, and solutions to refine company processes and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically within the demolition or interior trades.

• Proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and meeting quarterly revenue benchmarks.

• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.

• Expertise in utilizing Bluebeam or equivalent quantity takeoff and cost calculation software.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize high-stakes tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in field leadership or training junior laborers and team members on-site.

• Strong local network within the Indianapolis commercial construction and property management sectors.

• Formal training in project management principles or construction management.
