Parking Lot Striping Technician- Paid Training at Kept Companies, Inc – Aurora, Illinois

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and pavement marking and removal operations.
Read plans and take accurate measurements.
Lift, carry, load, and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies and signs.
Operate and maintain thermoplastic striping equipment for roadway applications.
Drive Striper Truck at low speeds during striping applications.
Set up and remove construction signs and traffic control items at job sites.
Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Maintain daily records, including work performed and material specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform repairs on equipment.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
Physical stamina to lift 50-70 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Team-player with good communication skills.
Must pass background and DMV record checks.
