Warehouse Operator - Forklift in Plano, Texas at Winzer Corp

SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, operate a stand-up order picker to efficiently pick product to order, responsible for accurately and timely replenishing of product in their primary locations, assisting with daily cycle counts all while abiding by all safety regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Basic math skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to operate handheld scanner.
• Ability to operate sit down and stand-up forklift.
• Ability to communicate with management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Replenish product to primary locations, confirming part number and quantity.
• Assist on cycle counting.
• Pick product to order.
• Clean and maintain work area daily.
• Maintain forklift, check water level, and keep clean.
• Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
• Complete daily forklift safety check list.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Perform back up for other locations/positions within the warehouse.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Lift, lower, carry product up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment – work in hot/cold temperatures through the seasons.
