Position Overview

We are looking for a bilingual, motivated, and dependable Assistant Manager to join our overnight team at Tampa International Airport. This is a full-time leadership position where you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee janitorial operations, supervise staff, and ensure one of Florida's busiest airports is maintained to the highest standards every single night. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day operation of janitorial services at the Tampa International Airport site
• Supervise, guide, and support janitorial staff throughout the overnight shift
• Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure cleaning standards and client specifications are consistently met
• Assist in developing and maintaining overnight cleaning schedules with adequate coverage at all times
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and coordinate replenishments as needed
• Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and special requests - responding professionally and promptly
• Ensure all staff follow safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions
• Resolve issues or complaints related to janitorial services quickly and effectively
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, employee attendance, and any site incidents
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment built on communication and mutual respect

Qualifications

• Bilingual - English and Spanish required
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in janitorial, facilities management, or a related field preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Proficient in basic computer applications including email and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required - additional education or certification in facilities management is a plus
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout an overnight shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environmental conditions

Schedule

Full-time | 3rd Shift - Overnight | 40 hours per week
