Our Infrastructure Advisory team provides reliable advice on complex social, civil, and energy projects around the world, supporting financial institutions and project companies at every stage of project delivery. We perform comprehensive due diligence during the bidding phase and provide ongoing technical supervision throughout construction, including monitoring progress, budgets, schedules, and project risks. As independent certifiers and engineers, we offer objective third-party supervision for key milestone verification, compliance, dispute resolution, and project success.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the independent certifier deliverables for clients at our Montreal office.


What You Will Learn and Do

  • Assist in the preparation of certification service reports, ensuring their accuracy and timely submission.
  • Track the progress of project plans and documents, assist in providing informed advice on design development and alignment with project requirements.
  • Support the production of monthly progress reports, inspection summaries, and payment certificates, as needed.
  • Assist and support the facilitation of project meetings, contribute to the drafting of minutes, follow up, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to observe work progress and verify that work is proceeding in accordance with schedules, contractual obligations, and payment requests.
  • Review proposed commissioning plans, methodologies, and testing processes, and provide comments or recommendations.
  • Monitor commissioning activities and prepare reports describing observations, progress, conclusions, and potential risks.
  • Support the defect management process, ensuring that the defect list is updated, tracked, and monitored until defects are resolved.
  • Help manage and complete project checklists, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met prior to project completion.
  • Participate in dispute resolution processes when necessary, under the direction of senior team members.
  • Occasionally network to promote the company, learn cross-selling, establish new contacts, and improve customer relationships; resolve issues quickly.


What You Will Bring

  • Between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • University degree or equivalent in one of the following fields: construction project management, civil engineering, finance.
  • Pursuing a relevant professional qualification will be considered an asset: PQS, MRICS, P. Eng, PMP.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French.
  • Motivation, good organizational, communication, and report writing skills.
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills, combined with good judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management.
  • Responsiveness to requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Eligible to work in Canada or in the process of obtaining a work permit.
