Warehouse Driver & Material Handler, Door & Trim at ALLY BUILDING SOLUTIONS – Saint Johns, Florida

Ally Building Solutions provides flooring, cabinetry, countertop, window treatment, wire shelving and glass enclosure products and expert installation services, as well as design studio solutions, to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Fort Myers.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Driver to join our Jacksonville Door & Trim team. The Material Handler & Driver will load and unload doors and trim, while maintaining the general organization of the warehouse. They will also assist with job-site deliveries.

Warehouse Driver & Material Responsibilities:

• Accept and unload inbound shipments of doors and trim.
• Verify, inspect, and receive all deliveries according to standards.
• Report any defective items, or shipping or receiving issues, to Warehouse Manager
• Pull and stage jobs daily capturing all needed stock and ordered materials.
• Load outbound trucks utilizing hand trucks and / or forklifts.
• Transport materials to individual job sites, and unload materials.
• Perform cycle counts on stock inventory and restock materials.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Warehouse Driver & Material Handler Requirements:

• Material Handler and Delivery experience, preferably with freight over 50 pounds
• Experience driving 16+ feet trucks, preferably 26 ft trucks.
• Department of Transportation med card and safe driving history
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Skill to handle materials safely and carefully, minimizing possible damage.
• Ability to learn and utilize daily company Enterprise RP software system.
• Previous building materials experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
