Commercial Heating and Cooling Lead Installer at B & C Mechanical Services LLC – Kansas City, Kansas

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Heating and Cooling Lead Installer with 5-10 years experience. To oversee the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent technical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise the installation of new & remodel of HVAC equipment, including ductwork, condensate drains, VRV systems, venting, refrigerant piping, gas piping, setting of new equipment, start up of equipment, and insulation.

- Provide excellent customer service by interfacing with clients and ensuring their satisfaction

- Train and mentor less experienced crew members, helping them develop their skills

- Ensure compliance with all safety precautions and company policies

- Occasionally work on ladders, lifts, and other equipment

- Maintain a clean and professional appearance

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an HVAC Installer

- Preferred certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, EPA Refrigeration Handling

- Own hand tools necessary for daily tasks (e.g., wrenches, nut drivers, sheet metal tools, cordless tools)

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
