Position Summary:

As a Sales Associate I is responsible for maintaining Guest Service as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards. Follow Law and Policy regarding selling Tobacco and their related products.

Summary/Objective:

Sales Associate I is responsible for maintaining Guest Service as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards. Follow Law and Policy regarding selling Tobacco and their related products.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensure re-wraps or stamping are done promptly and correctly.
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and accountabilities at registers.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Abide by all Policy and Law concerning sales of tobacco and related products.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements: (Lifting, bending, climbing, stamping equipment)

• Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and register system.
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
• Ability to read, count and write accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to operate and use all the equipment necessary to run the store.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• The ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighs 0-30 pounds.

• Must have more than 2 years sales associate experience
• Must be 18 years of age and older

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
