Job Summary:

As a Surgery Anesthesia & Analgesia VTS, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of surgical patients, working alongside a team of dedicated veterinary professionals. Your expertise in anesthesia and pain management is essential to delivering exceptional care to pets undergoing surgical procedures.

In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with primary surgeons, developing and implementing tailored anesthetic plans that prioritize patient well-being. Your advanced clinical skills, deep knowledge of anesthetic protocols, pain management, and surgical procedures, and ability to stay calm and focused under pressure will make a critical difference in patient outcomes.

Education and Experience

• Credentialed in Advanced training and Education in Anesthesia and Analgesia (AVTAA).
• Current certification and licensure in the state of practice.
• Hands on experience working in veterinary emergency, critical care and surgery, as part of a veterinary multi-specialty and emergency hospital.
• Advanced technical skills in anesthesia and-related tasks, requires in-depth knowledge of pharmacology, patient monitoring, and critical care to ensure the safety and well-being of animal patients during anesthesia and recovery.
