Medical Assistant at ANDREW HALL MD PLLC – Henderson, Nevada

Relevium Pain Specialists is a Las Vegas area pain management practice. We are seeking experienced candidates for the position of Medical Assistant.

The Medical Assistant position is a vital role within the practice that will perform both administrative and clinical tasks to help keep the practice running smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, answering telephones, monitoring electronic communications, rooming patients, collecting vitals, gathering chief complaints, assisting with medical procedures and injections, and other duties assigned by Chief Medical Director. This position requires consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following required qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Medical Assistant

• Exceptional understanding and use of Medical Terminology

• Exceptional computer skills

• Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills

• Excellent customer service and patient interaction skills including phone etiquette

• Experience with Electronic Health Record Systems (eClinicalWorks is preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

• Experience administering injections.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask

In addition to the above required qualifications, the ideal candidate will also possess the below preferred qualifications:

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program

• Medical Assistant Certification (preferred, not required)

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
