Banquet Server at StepStone Hospitality Inc. – Needham, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking full-time and on-call Banquet Servers for our newly renovated property!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc. Must know how to read and understand BEOs.
• Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
• Assist other servers and set up housepersons, if needed.
• Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation.
• Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions.

Requirements:

• Minimum lifting and pulling of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Understands the overall functions and procedures of Banquets and Catering.
• Must be flexible with schedule and adjust to business needs of the Hotel.
