About the Role:
As a Medical Assistant at Comp Management Inc, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a medical assistant training program.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
- Ensure medical instruments are properly sterilized and maintained.
- Manage front office tasks, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
