We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Event Sales Consultant to join our team.

About You:

You are organized, personable, and excited to be part of a great team. You show up big for your clients and your teammates. You’re detailed and precise, with an eye for event design and a love of special events.

Your clients will include venues, caterers, event planners, engaged couples, universities, businesses, and non-profit organizations. You’re excited to connect with each of them, and you’re ready to provide excellent customer service from the initial inquiry all the way through the event date.

You love building relationships with your clients, learning how to best serve them and their needs. You thrive in a role that includes in-person client consultations, phone calls and emails, and site visits to area venues. No two days are exactly alike, and you thrive in that variety.

You have an aptitude for learning new things, and are ready to learn about high-level event rentals and production. You’re excited for a unique special events role that’s primarily Monday through Friday, 9-5, with occasional weekend and after-hours time commitments. You want to grow with an amazing team, and help create incredible events in the process.

Our Ideal Candidate has:

• 2+ years of full-time experience in special events/hospitality. Examples include:
• Event planner
• Venue manager
• Catering sales
• Venue sales
• Client relations manager
• Event supplier/other vendor category sales
• Connections within the event industry in at least some of these sectors:
• Business and corporate
• School and university
• Wedding and social
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
