Position Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for trouble shooting & making repairs to machinery and equipment as well as overseeing a small maintenance crew.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical repairs to a variety of plant production equipment.
• Hydraulic repairs to a variety of plant production equipment.
• Electrical & PLC trouble shooting and repairs to variety of mechanical equipment.
• General electrical repairs to buildings and equipment.
• Generating and completing maintenance work orders for record keeping.
• Assigning work assignments to other team members and keeping them on track.
• General Preventive Maintenance tasks on a variety of plant equipment.
• Researching and ordering replacement parts and completing purchase requisitions.
• Light fabrication of replacement parts using general maintenance department equipment.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5 + years maintenance experience in a production setting.
• Knowledge and experience making mechanical repairs on a variety of machinery & equipment.
• Understanding hydraulics and hydraulic systems on equipment.
• Knowledge in PLC logic and trouble- shooting computer/machine software.
• Knowledge in electrical repairs. An electrician's license is a plus.
• Experience working on Mechanical & Hydraulic presses, Injection molding presses, Welding equipment, Welding robots, CNC equipment and Fiber Optic Lasers.
• Able to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds
