What you’ll do…

• Mechanically inclined individual able to dismantle, repair, and reassemble large equipment used in steel manufacturing. If you are mechanically inclined, we are willing to train you on all aspects of our jobs. We provide your work boots, all PPE, and uniforms that include a laundry service.

1. Disassemble and clean parts for rebuild
2. Sandblasting of parts, large and small
3. Reassemble new or reconditioned parts
4. Use of jib cranes, fork trucks, and overhead cranes-all training provided
5. Hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge a plus, but not necessary
6. Bearing disassembly, cleaning, mounting, and assembly
7. Pipe threading and tube bending a plus, but not necessary
8. Use of a torch a plus, but not necessary
9. Use of measuring devices a plus, but not necessary-calipers, mics, feeler gauges
10. Blueprint reading-interprets drawings a plus, but not necessary
11. Completes forms, routers, and related paperwork
12. Keeps work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly
13. Performs clean up, removal of trash, coolant, oil, scrap, chips, etc
14. Assists other employees as directed by management or group leaders
15. Reports and/or corrects all unsafe conditions immediately
16. Completes all training and education deemed necessary by management
17. Mentors other employees as needed

What you’ll need…

• High School diploma or GED required
• 2+ years’ experience doing mechanical/assembly type work a plus (not required but recommended)
• Be able to follow instructions and all safety requirements/ procedures in the work place.
