Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor in SAN ANTONIO, Texas at GLOBAL OPTICS SAN ANTONIO

Global Optics works exclusively with Google installing fiber optics in the San Antonio area. The Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor oversee the operations of the warehouse and inventory. We be responsible to maintaining inventory inside the warehouse and bulk inventory in the company yard. Must ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials are properly received and stored.

Includes but are not limited to...

Keeping track of incoming and outgoing inventory/materials.

Keep track of all inventories.

Report and submit received inventory in a timely matter.

Report and submit monthly inventory list within the given time frame.

Request/order materials when stock is running low.

Getting materials ready for pickup by subcontractors.

Training and supervising of warehouse employees.

Cleaning/upkeep/organization of warehouse and both yards.

Assisting Owners and other Supervisors as needed.

Using heavy machinery to load and unload trucks as well as for warehouse/yard maintenance.

General maintenance of the buildings.

Pick up of machinery parts and/or drop-off of materials at job sites if needed.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of Inventory Management or equivalent.

Must be able to write professional emails.

Must be able to speak professionally to our vendors/supply chain.

Must be able to work in a team and alone.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps and Google Drive apps. (i.e., excel, word, google sheets, etc.)

Might be required to move and carry 75lbs+ throughout the day.

Must have forklift experience.

Must be able to work in inclement weather.

Licenses/experience for any heavy machinery.

CDL.

Experience driving a truck and trailer (non CDL).
