Industrial Technician A at Landmark Construction – North Charleston, South Carolina

HIRING RANGE IS $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Major job responsibilities may include: typical "handyman" duties, welding, painting, pipe fitting, carpentry, demolition, concrete work

Position reports to Foreman, who also sets the working hours

CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30 & Site Specific certifications may be required

Successful pre-employment background check and drug screen will be required

DMV 3 Year History will be required before driving a company owned vehicle

TWIC card will likely be required for special projects

Qualifications and Standards

Minimum Training and Experience:

1 year of construction experience or a combination of education and experience preferred

Experience in the use and methods of tools and equipment commonly used in the trade preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Work involves sitting, walking and standing for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of five to fifty pounds
