Job Description:
Performs Department clerical, accounting, and various tasks in support of the Food Service Department and its management, to include: cash reconciliation and cash control/handling procedures, posting data, verifying and reconciling data in system, researching and assisting in purchasing/inventory functions, copying/filing/organizing/inputting data, for Operations Management. Covers for Office Coordinator or does other required operational duties (runs cash register) and assists in other functions as needed.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to read speak and comprehend English at level necessary to follow and give oral and written instructions, safety precautions, use computers, and utilize forms/manuals/tools to facilitate department and position’s work.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to include Excel.
- Proficient in data entry and processing practices, procedures and guidelines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to self direct and prioritize work
- Strong communication and follow-through and follow-up skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Experience:
Work Experience:
Two years of clerical and / or Data entry experience; preferably within the food service industry.
License/Registration/Certification:
None.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent.
